Nothing for five summaries a day, with no account and no card, and those five are the full summary: TL;DR, takeaways, timestamped chapters and notes, on a video of any length. Pro is $12 a month ($10 billed yearly) for unlimited summaries, and Team is $39 for five seats. Both are on a waitlist today.
Most people never leave the free plan, and that's fine. Pro exists for the days when five isn't enough, or when you want a playlist done in one go.
Less than you'd think. A finished summary is kept for 30 days, so asking for a video someone has already run costs you nothing, and neither does a video that failed. The count resets at midnight UTC.
In practice five a day covers a couple of lectures and a podcast, or a morning of triaging a channel. If you're working through a conference playlist, spread it over a few days or join the Pro waitlist. See how it works for what happens during those seconds.
Yearly billing takes 20% off both paid plans. Nothing renews on the free plan, because there's nothing to renew.
The free plan isn't a cut-down preview. Every summary includes the same four views as a paid one: the TL;DR, the key takeaways, timestamped chapters and full notes, on videos of any length, in the language the video is spoken in. You can export it as Markdown and share it with a link. What Pro adds is volume and convenience, not a better summary.

Billing
No. It's a real plan with no end date and no card required. Five summaries a day is enough for most people who watch a couple of long videos a week.
Only a video that has to be read from scratch. A video already summarized in the last 30 days comes straight back without counting, whether you ran it or someone sent you the link, and an attempt that fails doesn't count either. The five reset at midnight UTC.
No fixed limit, on any plan. Long talks and multi-hour podcasts work; they simply take longer, and the very longest are read in parts and merged. A video with no captions can't be summarized at all, whatever the plan.
Yes, from your account settings, without emailing anyone. Monthly plans run to the end of the period you've paid for. Yearly plans are refunded pro rata for the months you haven't used.
They stay readable and exportable. You keep access to everything you've already generated — the plan only governs what you can create from that point on.
Yes. Get in touch from your institutional email address and we'll sort it out. Course-wide and departmental licences are handled the same way.
Additional seats are added to the Team plan at a per-seat rate. For larger rollouts, SSO, or a procurement process, talk to us.
The free plan is not a countdown. Run a few videos through it and see whether it earns a place in your week.
